This Low loss 600 is achieved due to the cable construction specifications. The centre conductor uses a high conductivity, Bare copper or copper clad covered aluminium material. The dielectric is foamed, closed cell, Polyethylene which helps achieve 85% Velocity of Propagation. The Dielectric has an Aluminium foil outer conductor, which is chemically bonded on to it. Due to the cable construction, The attenuation is significantly lower as compared to single shielded coaxial cables: RF shielding of Low loss 600 is > 90 db.
